Engineering Traineeship – Find your purpose

Are you a technically educated talent, recently or soon to be graduated at the technical university and do you want to discover what exactly your interest is and your capabilities are?
Within A. de Jong, we have several opportunities in Project Management, Production, Project Engineering, Sales and Research & Development. But before you have to make a decision about your position, we will give you the opportunity to look around and discover our multiple areas.

What are you going to do?

As an Engineering Trainee, you will work through four blocks of six months each. Every six months, you move to a position in a different field. After the four blocks, you and we will have a good idea of what you like and what your strengths are , and together we will decide on a permanent position.

Block 1: Technology and R&D

Block 2: Sales Engineering

Block 3: Project Engineering

Block 4: Project Management & Production

After completing the four blocks, you will have a good idea and understanding of what we do within our company, and you will be fully productive. This enables you to make a choice for the next step in your career.

Are you born to go into technical depth through Project Engineering or even R&D, or are you looking for the fast dynamics of Sales? We are curious!

De Jong Energy Systems and zero emission

The activities of De Jong Energy Services consist of Combustion Systems, Energy Solutions, Process Automation and Modular Process Skids. Traditionally we supply custom made burner systems for high temperature industrial heat. But this is not all.

To help our customers with their zero emission goals we also do multidisciplinary turnkey projects in the conversion of existing fossil fuel burners to hydrogen and low emission solutions.

The market sectors that we focus on internationally are power plants, utilities, (petro-)chemical, food, paper and other large industries for high temperature heat input.

What do you bring?

• In possession (or within 4 months) of a Master in the direction of technology.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing.
• You are ambitious and willing to learn.
